The Heatwole Sisters Record
This is Polly’s son, Christopher Yoder. When Mom was at sewing retreat, she received a copy of a record they cut years and years ago. I asked to borrow it so that I could upload it to the internet so that it would be saved for future generations. If you would like to listen to it, you can below:

What a delight it was to hear that recording!!! Who was the male voice in a couple of the songs? When did you record this? Christopher says “years and years ago”. I love it! Who had which singing parts?
@piecedtreasures - Donna, yes that was years and years ago. The male voice is our only brother Oren Jr. My favorite song is #ll “In Tenderness He Sought Me”. I mostly sang the high tenor but on some of the songs some of the other girls sang it. Sheila and Julia both have beautiful lead voices and did most of the lead parts. I should go see if I could find and OLD picture of us about that time. On second thought, no I’d better not.
@PollythePatchworker - I think a picture of you all at that time would be a GREAT idea!! :)
Love this! What a blessing to hear you and your siblings singing, Polly! Precious harmony! The more I hear, the more I love these hymns. Whispering Hope is one of my all-time favorites — what a pretty rendition!
Thank-you, Christopher!
My mom had this on a cassette and I remember listening and enjoying it!

The songs are very familiar and now I am enjoying it again!!
vote for a picture(s), too.
I can’t get it to play. ;-( What am I doing wrong?
These are great! I listened to them all.
Watch it go viral :)
Beautiful…both the harmony and hymns. I second a vote for a picture(s).
Ahh, the sound of my early childhood right there!
Thanks for all your work Chris. I agree with Queena…”the sounds of childhood”. I would love to hear the “Sing, Sing, Praise and Sing” album in digital format.

Beautiful music! Thanks so much for sharing!
This is so precious!! I love the purity of acapella vocals — you sound “soft (and sweet) like the voice of an angel.”
You are all blessed with many talents!!
For those of you who are thanking me for my work–this took about 10 seconds to do, but you’re welcome : )
Beautiful voices and beautiful songs. I miss the old songs.
